Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan Consultation 2019

Consultation has concluded

Primary Health Networks (PHNs) and Health Services are required to develop joint Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plans. The Governance group for the West Victoria region will develop an initial plan by mid-2020.

The plan seeks to

  • Identify gaps and shared priorities;
  • Focus on integration between services and how to work better together; and
  • How to make better use of resources to meet regional needs.

Following both online and face-to-face consultations, we expect to have the plan ready for community consultation by early 2020.

Please note: if you need mental health support, you can contact the following organisations:

  • Lifeline: 13 11 14
  • Beyond Blue: 1300 22 4636
